Bon au revoir!

// July 31st, 2009 // No Comments » // Anthony

Today is our last day in France. It is 9:22 am here, 2:22 am at home. What a great place France is. The country side is beautiful! A very romantic place. The layed back atmosphere and colorful cities create in me the desire to visit again. The people are very friendly and helpful. The food I have eaten has been some of the best I have ever tasted. The streets are busy with motion and the cities have much to offer. The castles and the vistas seem to much to capture in a multitude of shots.

Thank you to all those who made our stay here most comfortable. Chris, Marge, Maylin, Pauline, Monik, Elvis, DD, Ann Marie and Barbra.

I would love to return and share this beautiful place.

Geneve

Only a short distance from La Roche is Geneve. A very cool city. Walking from the water front on into the city was most interesting. The fountain that shoots an unbelievable amount of water, high into the air was something to see. There are many shops with chocolate and clothing. The view from the water front was very cool! With the beach area, the many sailboats and the light house no wonder so many people were there. Again the food was great! Thank you to Monik for showing us the area and being so helpful.

The Food!!

The food…. Mmmmmmmm!

I have one request of the Nobels… have Dr Pepper if I get to come back.

Fabulous, is how I would discribe the food at Craponne. I absolutley enjoyed the food at the hotel, the resturants and at the show. The Rum Steak and Frence Green Beans were unbelievable. We ate a LOT of Frence Green Beans.

I ate at a very cool sidewalk resturant. The chicken & mozzerella sandwhich I had was great. It really was! The host was very nice and helpful. It was a  great place to relax from all of the walking. There are a lot of hills and steps.

Coka-Cola was the a wonderful find. I have had way too many of them.
